Frequently Asked Questions

Do you take insurance?

Revolution Birth Services provides a connection to a professional, compassionate billing service, created by a Midwife, to help you seek out pre-authorizations, GAP exceptions, reimbursements, and even payment arrangements directly between your birth team and your insurance company! Let our biller and her team be the middle person for you, so that you can focus solely on preparing for birth.

If you are an existing or new client, simply make sure that your correct insurance information is uploaded to your chart, and let your Midwife know. We will send a quick email to the biller, and she will handle the rest! If you are interested in benefits ahead of signing into care, please complete the form here.

What happens in the case of emergencies?

Our team is trained in handling emergencies outside of a hospital setting. In the event that an emergency exceeds our training, we will accompany you to the nearest hospital of your choosing and continue to support you through that time.

What should I expect during visits?

We’ll be with you from the first stages of your pregnancy, all the way to postpartum care, offering support and advice. With this service, you'll have everything you need to stay healthy and knowledgeable before, during, and after the birthing process. We follow the same schedule as an OBGYN would: seeing you every 4 weeks until 28 weeks, every 2 weeks until 36 weeks, then weekly until 42 weeks. After your baby is born, you can expect postpartum appointments at 48 hours, 1 week, 2 weeks, 4 weeks, and 6 weeks. Each visit allots for an hour to answer questions, build rapport in your team, troubleshoot any issues that you may be experiencing, and more.

Do you offer homebirths? What about vaginal births after c-sections?

We absolutely offer homebirth in either Central or North Texas! VBACs (vaginal births after cesareans) are determined on a case by case basis per state laws. If you'd like to learn about our qualifications, contact us.

Do you offer prenatal classes?

Yes! We have doulas and childbirth educators that are ready to prepare you of any type of birth across all settings. Ask us about classes at your appointment!
